cabin retreat is nestled in the idyllic landscape of Jewell Hollow
in the Blue Ridge Mountains of (Luray) Virginia. Our secluded cabins
are immersed in a beautiful Shenandoah woodland environment and offer
a rare and unforgettable experience for American and foreign visitors.
Located a short distance from the Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah
River, Lake Arrowhead, Luray Caverns, Virginia Wineries, and countless
other attractions, our guests enjoy world class relaxation, adventure,
or just good family fun for all seasons. |

Our compound
features three rare and authentic timber frame structures on 15 remarkable
acres bordering Shenandoah National Park in Virginia’s renowned Blue
Ridge Mountains. We currently offer our guests three rental opportunities
in the Bumble Bee, Dragon
Fly and Butterfly, |

The
Bear Dance Lodge, popular for groups of 8 - 12 guests, is a uniquely
designed large timber frame with no walls shared between the two independent
cabins within named the Bumble Bee and Dragon
Fly. The Bear Dance Lodge also has a private Cantina for group gatherings
and an observation tower which provides a striking view of the ridge line
(Skyline drive). Our guests will also enjoy the warm ambience manifested
in the intricate hand crafted Oak Timbers, extensive natural stone work,
and the charming old Europe and country decor of the cabins. |

Our smallest
rental is the Butterfly - a secluded timber
frame favored by couples. The Butterfly rests on the second level of a true
timber frame "salt box" barn and includes a full kitchen, full
bath, deck with view of the pond and all the modern amenities |

The lodge
has a private Cantina & observation
tower, which provides a striking view of the ridge line (Skyline drive
Luray Virginia) and surrounding forest for our guests to enjoy. Our mountain
cabin guests will enjoy the intricate hand crafted Oak Timbers with extensive
rockwork to accent the cabins. Each cabin has a warm

events. It’s the perfect place for your Virginia Vacation rental,
a Virginia Family Reunion or your Luray Virginia get-a-way. (SME) Luray
Virginia cabin complex is located on 15 acres bordering the National Forest
- the main entrance into the Shenandoah National Park - Skyline Drive is
2.9 miles away, Lake Arrowhead is 2.5 miles away and downtown Luray is 7
minutes. All of our rentals are Timber frame structures, which add to our
natural setting. There is a small walking trail, pond and mountain stream
on the property. |
